Apps

• Reader: an EPUB reader for books in your Google Drive.
• Board game tables (seti.ruyan.dev, brass.ruyan.dev): online tables for playing board games with friends.
• Shared files: a read-only file listing shared with friends.
• Dialogic Composer: an editor for visual novel scripts (Dialogic timelines), with optional GitHub sign-in to commit to your repositories.

What the apps access

• Sign-in. Apps that use Google or GitHub sign-in receive your basic profile (name, email address, profile picture and account ID). This identifies you, shows your name to other people you play or share with, and checks who may use an app.
• Your files. Some apps ask for access to files in your Google Drive or repositories on GitHub, for example Reader opening books from your Drive. They only access what you choose or allow when you are asked, use it only for the feature you are using, and never change, delete or share it unless you ask them to (for example, committing your edits to GitHub).

What is stored

The apps store only what they need to work: your account ID and the data you create in them, such as game records, reading progress, highlights, notes and settings. This is kept on Cloudflare, linked to your account, so it is there when you come back or switch devices. Sign-in credentials are kept encrypted. Your files from Google Drive or GitHub may be cached in your browser, but are not stored on a server.

Sharing

Your data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone except the services that run the apps: Cloudflare (hosting), and Google and GitHub (sign-in and access to your files). In the game tables, your display name and moves are visible to other players at your table.

Google user data

Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide the app features you use. It is not used to train AI or machine learning models, and no person reads it.

Keeping and deleting data

You can remove an app's access at any time from your Google Account's third-party connections or your GitHub application settings. To delete everything stored about you, email support@ruyan.dev and it will be deleted within 30 days.

• These apps are free personal projects, provided as is, without warranty of any kind. They may change, break, or shut down at any time.
• Use them only with files and content you have the right to access. You are responsible for what you open, upload or share through them.
• Don't misuse the apps, for example by trying to access other people's data or disrupting the service. Access may be removed for misuse.
• To the extent the law allows, the author is not liable for any loss or damage from using the apps.
